Digital photography history can be dated back for decades when the evolution of image sensor device CCD was incorporated into digital camera. Since then, photography have taken a whole new meaning in the digital world and set forth greater and more advance technology to create a digital revolution.
While the history of photography started way back during the pioneer years of the 18th century, digital photography only been around a few decades. Digital photography uses digital technology to develop images or pictures of subjects. During the early years, photographic film was use to create images which were made visible through photographic processing. Photographers mixed portions and caustic powders together to make images appear on a variety of items such as paper, glass or metal. Since then, a company call Kodak introduced a device called the "Brownie" in the early 1900s. The Brownie was a very low-priced point and shoot camera that was compact and hand held for the consumer. This camera brought a whole new meaning of taking snapshots at the press of a button. Photography has now taken a more advance approach and the ever changing events in digital technology have brought new meaning to the digital world. Today, digital cameras are much more cheaper and the ability to produce a high quality image using computers are just a click of a single button. Image process is also more advance than the early years due to technology. Many printing shops and business have taken the digital revolution online in order to gain new customers for digital image processing.
