The only disadvantage to using this method is that it can be costly, especially for large events such as weddings. The ink cartridges usually cost in the hundreds depending on how many the printer uses. For new photographers, I would suggest using this approach for small events and if you are unable to afford to pay a photo lab.

Digital photo labs are one of the best ways to manage digital printing, especially of you are planning to participate in lots of events. Many local printing companies are now using online digital processing to save time and money. Photographers have an advantage of using digital photo labs because you can managed all of your printing at home from a computer. The digital prints can be sent online using the Internet, printed at the photo lab, and shipped to the customer.
